Kidney-protection strap in the form of a stretch strap

The invention relates to a kidney-protection strap in the form of a stretch strap which has differing stretch characteristics over the width and is thus better adapted to the differing body sizes in the region of the upper and lower longitudinal edge of the strap, as a result of which the fit is improved. By sewing on essentially inflexible stiffening parts, the stretchability is reduced and by providing cutouts the resistance to stretching is decreased. The cutouts in the region of the lower longitudinal edge of the strap can be covered by particularly elastic covering material.
