PURPOSE:To enable a transfer sheet to be easily obtained by use of a general- purpose copying machine, by a method wherein a resin sheet and a transfer sheet, overlapped each other across a toner image, are pressured and heated, and after they are cooled, the resin sheet is peeled off while maintaining a large curvature against the transfer sheet. CONSTITUTION:A transfer sheet 15 made of 12mum thick of flexible polyester film having high surface smoothness is overlapped on a copy sheet S1 on which a toner image is formed. The sheets 15 and S1 are fed through the nip portion of the pressure-heat-fixing device consisting of a pair of rollers 11, 12. The overlapped sheets are held between the rollers 11, 12 to be fed, whereby the transfer sheet 15 comes in close contact with a toner image 14 as well as the copy sheet S1, resulting in a condition, what is called, in the packing. The copy sheet S1 is to be peeled from the surface of the toner image transferred on the transfer sheet 15 so as to maintain larger curvature against the toner image surface on the transfer sheet 15 than against the film sheet substrate. |
