PURPOSE:To prevent a minute hole from being formed wrongly, by setting thin metallic plates in such a way that they can be positioned under a condition where they are contacted with inner surfaces of a metallic pipe, metallic collar, ferrule, etc., and abutting or joining the positioned metallic plates with or to the deformed arts of the metallic pipe, etc. CONSTITUTION:A metallic collar or ferrule 5 constitutes a plug and a pierced hole 6 is provided in its inside. A metallic pipe 7 is inserted into and firmly adhered to the enlarged section 6a at the left end of the pierced hole 6 and grooves 8 are formed in the inner circumferential surface of the metallic pipe 7 in the length direction of the pipe 7. Plural thin metallic pipe 9 are put in the metallic pipe 7 under an overlapped condition and a minute hole 10, through which an optical fiber strand is passed, is formed at the center of the thin metallic plates 9. Moreover, the thin metallic plates 9 are positioned in such a way that their outer circumferential surfaces are contacted with the inner circumferential surface of the metallic pipe 7. After positioning, the thin metallic plates 9 are joined to the metallic pipe 7 with a sufficient strength by injecting an adhesive into the grooves 8 of the metallic pipe 7.
