发明名称 MULTICAP MAGNETIC DETECTION HEAD
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the lowering of hysteresis with a reduction in the through magnetic flux density, by setting the distance between adjacent head gaps at nlambda/2 [wherein (n) is odd number of 3 or more] with the magnetic wavelength for a magnetic scale as lambda. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic flux detecting section B is designed with attentions paid to the fact that the same operation is secured with a head based on the function thereof of adding magnetic fluxed phi opposite to each other as far as the distance between adjacent had gaps corresponds to 1/2lambda in the magnetic potential relationship. If the distance between the adjacent gaps is nlambda/2 [wherein (n) is odd number of 3 or more], the core of the head can be made thick enough as desired without disturbing the magnetic scale signal. This also can lower the hysteresis sufficiently with a reduction in the core-through magnetic flux density keeping the head detection signal level the same as ever. In this case, the gap length ranging 0-lambda/2 can increase the head detection signal level. For example, when the gap length is set at lambda/2 that could maximize the output level, the head detection signal with a large level can be obtained with limited number of gaps.
