PURPOSE:To average the light of a halogen lamp which is uneven in light quantity, by providing a light valve between the halogen lamp and photosensitive body and positioning the light valve by separating the valve from the halogen lamp by a distance, with which at least one pitch of the filament of the halogen lamp can be contained in the light incoming angle of a light guiding material. CONSTITUTION:The recording device of this invention is provided with a liquid crystal shutter 2 and a convergent light transmitting body 3 between an already existing halogen lamp 1 and photosensitive body 4 of a copying machine. Especially, the distance (l) between the liquid crystal shutter 2 and halogen lamp 1 is set equally to or larger than the distance (l), with which the one pitch (p) of each filament 1a of the halogen lamp 1 can be contained in the light incoming angle of the light transmitting body 3. Therefore, the light of the halogen lamp 1 which is uneven in light quantity in the length direction of the lamp 1 is made incident to the liquid crystal shutter 2 as almost uniform light. |
