PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain a compsn. capable of forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer having excellent tack, adhesion, cohesive force and resistance to heat and water, containing a copolymer of an unsaturated monomer and an alkyl (meth)acrylate. CONSTITUTION:A pressure-sensitive adhesive compsn. contains an acrylic copoly mer obtd. by copolymerizing 0.1-20wt% unsaturated monomer of the formula (wherein R is H, CH3) and 99.9-80wt% 2-18C alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer in an org. solvent. 50% or less of said ester monomer may be replaced by other copolymerizable unsaturated monomer. A polyfunctional isocyanate may be used in an amount of 0.1-20pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. acrylic copolymer.
