PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurate time difference meter wherein the self- testing function with respect to the correlation operation between signals is embodied by simple circuit constitution, by providing a change-over switch to a correlation function operator to make it possible to select the desired signal in two inputted analogue signals. CONSTITUTION:At least a shift register 5 and a change-over switch 12 are provided to a correlation function operator 101. Two analogue input signals are inputted to comparators 3, 4 to be outputted as binarized signals. The signal from the comparator 3 is successively accumulated in the shift register 5 and applied to the change-over switch 12 through said shift register 5. The signal from the comparator 4 is directly applied to the change-over switch 12. Here upon, when the self-testing with respect to the correlation operation between signals is performed, the signal from the comparator 3 accumulated in the desired bit stage within the shift register 5 is selected.
