PURPOSE:To remove a protrusion for engaging from a cassette and to eliminate the damage on the protrusion by providing adjacently an inclined surface and a hole on the up-side and down-side of the cassette, engaging the claw of a holder with the hole while getting over the inclined surface. CONSTITUTION:In the up-side and down-side of the cassette 18 to be contained in the containing part of the titled device, the surface 18d and the hole 18f are provided together. Meanwhile, in the carrier of a retrieving device, a holder 80 to hold the cassette 18 is provided. To hold the medium, the claws 85a and 85'a of the holder 80 get over the said surface 18d of the cassette 18, and engages with the hole 18f. Thus the protrusion conventionally provided on the cassette 18 is eliminated, therefore an accident such as fall of the device to damage the protrusion at loading is eliminated.
