In a mouth douche having a storage vessel for the douche medium, a pump device and a nozzle connected to the pump device via a flexible pressure line and arranged on a handle, the structural outlay is reduced and actuation is possible without any force of an electric motor in that the pump device is designed as a piston pump whose piston (8) is freely accessible on one end in the cylinder (5) or projects out of the cylinder (5). An actuation lever (9) with which the piston (8) can be pushed manually into the cylinder (5) counter to a restoring force for pressure strokes for the douche medium is to be in contact with the free end of the piston (8). <IMAGE>
