PURPOSE:To prevent flow-out of lubricant and intrusion of cooling water or rolling oil agent into the bearing by fixing annular sealing bodies to the open sections at the opposite sides of inner and outer rings of bearing in roll shaft box of roll. CONSTITUTION:A bearing 2 for supporting the end section of roll 103 is arranged in a roll shaft box 1. Annular sealing body 3 is arranged at the open section at the roll barrel 101 side of the inner and outer rings 200, 201 of the bearing 2 while an annular sealing body 4 contacting against the thrust collar 5 is arranged at the open section at the other side. Said sealing bodies 3, 4 will function to block between the inside and the outside of the bearing 2, thus to prevent flow-out of lubricant in the bearing 2 and intrusion of rolling oil agent or cooling water into the bearing 2.
