<p>PURPOSE:To produce sufficient pressing force from friction board by providing a valve for regulating the pressure in pressure chamber and means for controlling the pressure regulation valve such that the pressure in the pressure chamber will depend on the rotation of input shaft. CONSTITUTION:The pressure in pressure chamber 22 is regulated through balance between the pushing force of pressure fluid against a pressure regulation valve 10 and the pushing force of cam plate 13 against said valve 10 caused through a governor ball 14. Since the clutch piston 20 will press a friction board 21 through clutch facing 27 against the clutch outer 19 on the basis of the pressure in the pressure chamber 22, the input side rotary member 5 and the output side rotary member 6 are brought into such condition as enable of power transmission while brought into such condition as unable of power transmission upon release of said pressure. Since the pressure fluid in the pressure chamber 22 is led through pressure fluid distribution holes 12b and 20a to the sliding section of clutch facing 27, it is protected from burning under semi-clutched condition.</p> |
