<p>PURPOSE:To provide a decorative molded felt material enhanced in design effect and excellent in heat shrinkage resistance, by a method wherein a molding grade felt material and a sheet having an adhesive layer softened under heating are sucked to and closely contacted with one of heated molds along with cloth having highly extensible property to mold the molding grade felt material and, at the same time, a thermoplastic synthetic resin sheet is adhered to the molded one as a decorative surface layer. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic synthetic resin sheet 3 having an adhesive layer 2 is heated on a plate to soften the adhesive layer 2 to be placed on the cloth 5 having highly extensible property, which was fixed to the clamp frame 6 arranged between heated compression molds 4 so as to direct the adhesive layer upwardly and fixed to the cloth 5 by a clamp frame 7 and a molding grade felt material 1 is further placed on the sheet 3. Next, by sucking air from the suction port 9 of the heated lower mold 4 under reduced pressure and the whole is subjected to thermal compression molding while the highly extensible cloth is sucked and closely contacted along with the sheet 3 to mold a decorative molded felt material A having the sheet as a decorative surface layer and having the embossed pattern of the highly extensible cloth transferred to the surface of the sheet 3 thereof.</p> |
