Method for determining rheumatoid factor and denatured, human gamma -globulin for the method

A method for the quantitative determination of rheumatoid factor is described. In the method, an immune reaction between the rheumatoid factor in the serum sample and a denatured human gamma -globulin is initiated, specifically in the presence of an activator. The turbidity of the resulting reaction solution is measured using an automatic analyser. The invention furthermore relates to the denatured human gamma -globulin itself.
