PURPOSE:To improve moldability, resistance to heat and impact and platability, by blending a polycarbonate resin with a graft polymer. CONSTITUTION:50-85pts.wt. graft copolymer (A), 0-35pts.wt. copolymer (B) and 15-50pts.wt. polycarbonate resin are blended together. Component A is obtd. by grafting 85-50pts.wt. monomer mixture of 20-85wt% alpha-alkyl-substd. arom. vinyl monomer, 15-40wt% vinyl cyanide monomer and 0-65wt% other copolymerizable vinyl monomer onto 15-50pts.wt. rubbery diene polymer. Component B is obtd. by polymerizing 60-90wt% arom. vinyl monomer, 40-10wt% vinyl cyanide monomer and 0-30wt% other copolymerizable monomer.
