PURPOSE:To obtain a joint structure of ceramic tubes which is easy to be designed and be assembled and which enables to easily absorb the error in measurement of a product and the deviation caused by the differences in thermal expansivity, by holding the ends of ceramic tubes to be joined by tube plates respectively, and by joining both tube plates to each other. CONSTITUTION:The bottom end of one ceramic tube 1a to be joined is held by a metallic tube plate 2a, and the top end of the other ceramic tube 1b is held by a metallic tube plate 2b. A packing made of heat resistance rubber or a sealing compound consisting of ceramic powder can be used for a sealing material 4a, 4b. They have a property to absorb the deviation in positions of ceramic tubes 1a, 1b caused by the differences in thermal expansivity between metal and ceramics and airtightness can be kept in the sealing positions. The outer surfaces of tube plates 2a, 2b are surrounded by shell walls 7a, 7b respectively. Flanges 8a, 8b are fitted to the outer surfaces of shell walls 7a, 7b, the surfaces of the flanges are opposed to each other, and they are joined by fastening a bolt 9 and a nut 10. The deviation in measurement caused by the difference in thermal expansivity can be absorbed in each tube plate, so that it will not be accumulated in the axial direction of a tube.
