PURPOSE:To make rapid an assembling operation by fitting under pressure a strut of an upper flange into a press fitting hole on a ceiling surface of a hub during assembling a reel. CONSTITUTION:On a circumference of a ceiling surface 21 of a tape reel hub 1, press fitting holes 22 are disposed at equal interval. The hub 1 is provided with a central protrusion 23 of the ceiling surface, an outer peripheral wall 7, an inner peripheral wall section 8, and a connecting rib 9 of the inner and outer peripheral walls. During assembling the hub 1 and an upper flange 3, by fitting under pressure a strut 32 of the flange 3 into a press fitting hole 22, a central opening 33 of the flange 3 is fitted to the protrusion 23 and both the members are fixed. A step section 31 protruding downward of the flange 3 contacts the ceiling surface 21 of the hub 1 and around the step section 31, the struts 32 of the same number as the press fitting hole and having a slightly larger diameter are suspended and integrated.
