PURPOSE:To facilitate the replacement of a power cord by constituting a part of the cylindrical part of a cord reel in demountable ways and allowing the top edge of the power cord to be connected to a power source side, in the captioned apparatus built into the electrical equipment such as electric vacuum cleaner, etc. CONSTITUTION:In a cord reel 10 of the captioned taking-up apparatus, a part of the cylindrical part 13 of a reel case 11 which forms the front half is formed into a demountable cord supporter 41. Said supporter 41 is equipped with a circular surface forming a part of the cylindrical part 13 and a nearly fan- shaped wall surface 46 which is formed by separating a part of the wall surface of the reel case 11 up to the vicinity of a reel bearing 42. The top edge 9' of a power cord 9 is introduced into the cylindrical part 13 through an opened part 45 formed onto a part of the circular surface of the supporter 41, and allowed to pass in meandering through a plurality of bosses 47 installed in projection onto the nearly fan-shaped wall surface 46, and a lead wire 26 at the top edge of the cord 9' is connected to a contact piece 21 which contacts with the slip ring 23 of a reel supporting board 22. |
