<p>PURPOSE:To accommodate copying sheets in a small-sized cassette and maintain the sheet feed performance well by accommodating sheets in such an attitude as being bent in the sendoff direction from the sheet feed cassette, and by installing a lid with a deformation suppressive part close to the outside surface of the turnover point of sheets in such a way as facing said outside surface. CONSTITUTION:The weight of the bentback part B1 of copying sheets B is borne by the supporting part 4a of a support 4. When a single sheet B is to be sent off from a sheet feed cassette 1, it is made smoothly without bending while its turnover part B2 is in contact with a curvature 4b to slide with the curved form held. The curvature 4b1 of said support 4 functions as turnover guide to hinder hopping-up of the tail B3 of the sheet B so as to prevent misfeeding. Such a construction shall be used that the top of said curvature 4b2 faces the deformation suppressive part 7a of a lid 7, and part of this lid 7 shall face the turnover part B4 of the sheet B as close thereto. Even this serves prevention of such hopping-up as mentioned before. Thus the sheets can be accommodated in a small cassette and the sheet feed performance be maintained well.</p> |
