PURPOSE:To simplify structure of a governor, according to the method wherein, in a device which controls the opening of the throttle valve of a carburetter by either throttle controller or mechanism governor, an intermittent device, intermittently interlocking with an interlocking mechanism between a governor and a carburetter, is located to the interlocking mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A single cylinder engine 14 of a vehicle for running on an uneven road surface is formed such that the opening of a throttle valve 94B of a carburetter 94 is regulated by means of a wire through manual control of a throttle lever, not shown, and a rotation speed is controlled through said regulation. With the increase in the rotation speed of the engine 14, a weight 80 of a mechanical governor 72 is swing outward through a centrifugal force, and this presses a fork 84 rightward through a slider 82, and the opening of the throttle valve 94 B is regulated toward the closing side through a lever 90 and a link 104. In which case, an intermittent device 88, brought to a connection state in a PTO mode and brought to a disconnection state in a running mode, is coaxially with a fork shaft 86 to intermittently continue interlocking between the governor 72 and the carburetter 94. |
