PURPOSE:To obtain an adhesive capable of providing adequate initial tackiness, high in initial settability with improved workability, useful for such industries as aviation, automobile, electronics and electrics or construction, by incorporating silica fine powder in epoxy resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective adhesive can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of an epoxy resin (pref. with a liquid state at ambient temperatures) with (B) pref. 5-15pts.wt. of silica fine powder (pref. with a size <=0.1mum, oil absorption 1-5g/g and specific surface area 100-300m<2>/g).
