PURPOSE:An antibody usable as a diagnosticum for the stomach, obtained by using a specific peptide as an antigen. CONSTITUTION:An animal such as mouse, etc. is immunized against a bonded material of an antigen peptide shown by the formula and a carrier protein (e.g., keyhole limpet hemocyanin, bovine serum albumin, etc.). A lymphocyte of the immunized animal is fused with myeloma to give a hybridoma to produce specifically an antibody, form which a monoclonal antibody is obtained. The prepared immunoglobulin has properties shown by the table I. The antibody against a sarcoma gene product is usable as a diagnosticum for cancers and can possibly be used as a remedy for cancers.
