PURPOSE:To make the time setting operation at the time of resetting the time of a timer simple, by storing an optional prescribed time considering the used condition of apparatuses in the memory of a controller for controlling timer as a clearing time which is used as the start of the time setting. CONSTITUTION:When the power supply switch 5 of a warm-air heater 1 is turned on, a power source circuit 4 outputs a power supply signal A and initial reset signal B to a microcomputer 3 and actuates the microcomputer 3. The microcomputer 3 previously inputs, for example, 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM as the clearing values of the current time and operation starting time and causes a memory 3d to store the times. When a timer device 14 is et at 10:00 PM so as to cause the warm-air heater 1 to start heating operations at 6:00 next morning, a current time operating key among an operation key group 11 is depressed twice and the current time is inputted in the microcomputer 3. Then the operation starting time is set in such a way that the operation starting time is inputted in the microcomputer 3 by depressing an operation starting time operating key among the key group 11 so as to store the starting time in the memory 3d and, at the same time, the operation starting time display 13b of a display section 13 is updated one time.
