PURPOSE:To easily roll down to finer thickness by a method wherein a bar- shaped matter is inserted in the bore of a tubular matter, which is mounted on rollers so as to repeat the rotating movement of the tubular matter in the direction of interlocked rotation while being applied with rolling force toward the thickness of the tubular matter. CONSTITUTION:A bar 2 is inserted in the bore of a tubular matter 1, which is, for example, made by extruding the kneaded mixture of ceramic and metal powder in resin material. The tubular matter 1 is placed in a cylinder 3, which generates heat by energizing so as to heat the tubular matter 1 in order to be able to easily work the wall portion of the tubular matter plastically. The rotating motion is given to the cylinder 3 by rotating rolls 4. At the same time, the tubular matter 1 is also rotated and gradually given pressing force by means of the bar 2 and the cylinder 3 so as to work the wall portion of the tubular matter 1 thinner. A magnetizing device 5 is provided at the wall portion of tubular matter 1 so as to orientate the wall portion from the center of axis to the circumferential direction.
