PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of free oil during a concn. process and to avoid clogging, in the treatment of emulsion waste oil, by performing centrifugal separation treatment as pretreatment prior to performing concn. treatment by ultrafiltration. CONSTITUTION:The emulsion waste oil of a tank 1 receives centrifugal separation treatment by a centrifugal separator 3. The free oil and unstable emulsion centrifugally separated from the emulsion oil are mechanically separated and recovered to be sent to a tank 13 while the stable emulsion is discharged to a pretreatment filter 4 in a pressurized state. The adsorptive removal of sludge like and grease like substances floated by adsorbing, pressurizing and floating effects is performed by the pretreatment filter 4. The stable emulsion is supplied to an ultrafiltration membrane 7 through a tank 6 to perform concn. treatment and transmitted water 8 is separated. The free oil generated in a concn. process is removed and recovered by an adsorbing filter 9.
