PURPOSE:To provide possibility of takeout supply of sheets upon alignment at their bottom edges by furnishing a pressing means, which is to press the sheets on a sheet placing part to a takeout means side, and an aligning member to protrude so as to produce steps at the bottoms of said sheets, and by installing a drive means for this aligning member. CONSTITUTION:Sheets placed on a sheet placing part 11 are one after another transported forward by supply pins 13, 13. An aligning member 15 is rotated by a drive mechanism. If a step is generated on the left of a sheet P1, it is sunk by friction with the lefthand sheet P2, and if generated on the right, the sheet P1 is sunk by friction with the righthand sheet P3. Therefore the bottom edges of sheets adjoining the sheet P1 are put in alignment as approaching the takeout part 20. At the takeout part 20 the bottom edges of all sheets are in well alignment to provide sure performance of taking out.
