PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient airtightness even when a rotary bezel is rotated, by forming a knurling tool-like uneven section, whose level difference is smaller than the pressing width of an elastic sealing member, on the contacting surface of a barrel with the elastic sealing member and preventing partial extension of the sealing member. CONSTITUTION:An elastic sealing member 109 is put between a barrel 110 and rotary bezel 107 by pressing. The rotary bezel 107 is pressed into the barrel 110 and fixed to the barrel 110 by means of its engaging section 108. But the rotary bezel 107 can rotates under this condition. A bottom cap 113 is brought into close contact with and is fixed to the barrel 110 by pressing a packing 111. A movement 114 is fixed to a watch case by means of an intermediate frame 112. A knurling tool-like uneven section 201, whose level difference is smaller than the pressing width of the elastic sealing member 109, is formed on the surface of the barrel 110 contacting with the elastic sealing member. Therefore, the partial extension of the sealing member can be prevented by the strong frictional force between the rotary bezel 107 and sealing member 109 and the airtightness is never lowered even when the rotary bezel 107 is rotated. |
