摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive to facilitate the supply management of component parts and to rationalize the assembling and enable to cope with by a single kind of part in spite of the change of supply voltage by a method wherein a large number of semiconductor heat generating elements are energized when the titled device is used for lower voltage and a small number of the elements are energized when the titled device is used for higher voltage. CONSTITUTION:A heater consists of, for example, four positive characteristics semiconductor heat generating elements 5 connected in series, one of which is cut-off from the remaining three by breaking a switch 14. Accordingly, the energizing through a large number of the elements or all the four elements and the energizing through a small number of the elements or the three elements out of the four semiconductor heat generating elements are changed-over by making and breaking the switch 14. As for the configuration of a circuit, the voltage- heat release characteristics respectively most suitable on 110V supply voltage and on 220V supply voltage is obtained by changing-over under the conditions satisfying the predetermined reference calorific value. Consequently, the change of supply voltage can be coped with without changing the rating and assembling specifications of the semiconductor heat generating element 5, resulting in facilitating the management of parts of a heater consisting of the semiconductor heat generating elements 5 and consequently rationalizing the assembling process. In addition, the change of supply voltage can be simply coped with by changing-over a single kind of part.
