Method for the hardening treatment of plastic-coated metal foils, in particular of polypropylene-laminated aluminium foils, in which the foils are wound into coils, characterized in that for hardening and for accelerated strengthening of the adhesive connection between the metal foil and plastic foil, the coils are kept for several hours at the temperature of delivery out of the laminating plant, which is high with respect to the ambient temperature.
