PURPOSE:To obtain the titled cover glass insoluble to a solvent contg. in a sample and having an excellent optical transmission property by coating a high polymer liquid sealing material on the surface of the transparent resin sheet composed of polyethylene terephthalate. CONSTITUTION:The layer 2 of the high polymer liquid sealing material is formed by coating said material on the cover glass 1 consisting of the transparent resin sheet of polyethylene terephthalate. The obtd. cover glass is adhered to the preparation glass 3 to fix the sample to be observed. If the sealing material 2 is composed of an acrylic resin obtd. by polymerizing 1-19C alkyl methacrylate, 1-19C alkyl acrylate and ethylenic unsatd. monomer having a functional group as a main component. the adhesion of the preparation glass 3 and the over glass 1 are remarkably improved, thereby obtaining the titled glass which is insoluble to the solvent contg. in the sample and has the excellent optical transmission property.
