摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce variation in loads applied on a takeup device for formed resin of a trimming press machine by detecting the decrease in the slack of formed resin sheet with the first photoelectric device and the increase with the second photoelectric device and thereby stopping or starting a motor. CONSTITUTION:When the first photoelectric device 19 detects decrease in slack, a formed resin sheet C' pressed with a press roll 18 is sent forth from a slack 25 to a slack 26 by means of a joint drive of a drive motor 12, a feed shaft 13 and a drive drum 14. As a result, a slacking quantity of the slack 26 increases, which is detected with the second photoelectric device 20 to stop the motor 12, the drum 14 and others. Namely, as a slacking quantity the slack 26 between a slack adjuster 11 and a takeup device 5 is kept within a certain range by means of photoelectric devices 19 and 20 so that variation in loads applied on the takeup device 5 is minimized, the takeup device 5 can send forth a certain length of formed resin sheet C' to a trimming press machine 4 while preventing slip due to overloading.
