PURPOSE:To improve the stability of idling by controlling ignition timing with correction value of the ignition timing at each cylinder in the direction of equalizing explosive forces in idling of the respective cylinders. CONSTITUTION:An ignited cylinder is judged by a crank angle sensor 14 to detect the actual rotation frequency of idling in the explosive stroke of the cylinder. A control unit 30 increases or decreases a predetermined amount of correction value of ignition timing at each cylinder in the direction of equalizing the rotational frequency of idling detected in each cylinder to that in other cylinders, while calculating the average value of correction values of ignition timing in all cylinders to correct the correction value of ignition timing in each cylinder by same amount respectively in the direction of setting the average value to 0. Thus, the control value of ignition timing set according to the running requirements of an engine 1 is corrected by adding the correction value is each cylinder to be sent to a power transistor 13. |
