PURPOSE:To provide separated feed of sheets in different sorts without requiring any adjustment by incorporating such a construction that the friction force applied to a sheet from No.1 rotor while the sheet is pinched between it and No.1 pressure contact body, is greater than the friction force applied to the same sheet from No.2 rotor while the sheet is pinched between it and No.2 pressure contact body. CONSTITUTION:When sent into a nip part 9, a sheet is pinched between No.1 rotor 3 and No.1 pressure contact body 11 and also between No.2 rotor 5 and No.2 pressure contact body 12. Therefore, the sheet is free from undulation and is held with a wide contact area of two rotors and pressure contact bodies. In case only one sheet is fed into the nip part 9, the friction force by the rotor 3 is large to enable the sheet to be fed forward. In case two sheets are fed simultaneously, that one of the sheets whose A side is contacted by the rotor 3 will be fed forward with the friction force by the rotor 3, while the other sheet is contacted by the rotor 5 with its B side to be fed back to ensure intended separated feed of one single sheet. This can be accomplished regardless of sheet thickness with no adjustment required.
