PURPOSE:To aim at high accuracy of control by detecting flow rate and temperature of gas at the inlets of a main and auxiliary coolers and adding an output signal to an outlet temperature control means so as to control operation of both coolers. CONSTITUTION:Flow rate and temperature at the inlets of a main cooler 4 and auxiliary coolers 5, 6 are detected by a gas flow rate detector 11 and a gas temperature detector 12. An output signal from an arithmetic unit 13 is added to that from a temperature regulator 7, an output signal from an adder 14 is given to a pitch controller 8 and a monitor switch 9, and operation of the main cooler 4 and the auxiliary coolers 5, 6 is controlled. Following performance for a swift change of heat quantity of gas discharged from a compressor is improved by the above mechanism, and temperature can be controlled at high accuracy.
