PURPOSE:To retract a jack cylinder into a sponson beam in order to house it under the inclined state by pivoting the jack cylinder to the extremity of the sponson beam so as to be swung left and right with respect to the upper point as the supporting point. CONSTITUTION:When an out-rigger is stored, a jack cylinder 5 is contracted and with a high-point projection 55a coming off an engagement dent 36, a sponson beam 3 is retracted into a fixed box 2. At the initial time of starting the housing of the sponson beam 3 movement of the beam 3 is started synchronously to the movement of a rod 42 of a stretchable cylinder 4. Just before the completion of the housing thereof, a lock pin is detached from a low-point projection 55b so that the jack cylinder 5 being vertically contracted is undone. From the completion point of the housing of the sponson beam 3 the rod 42 of the stretchable cylinder 4 is independently moved in the reverse direction to that in which stretched. During the movement, the jack cylinder 5 is automatically displaced from the vertical state to the inclined and housed state. |
