PURPOSE:To increase stiffness of the lower portion of a fascia so as to improve stability at the time of slight collision by extending the lower portion of a reinforcement afterward, to which the end portion of a rib extended from the lower portion of the fascia is fixed. CONSTITUTION:The lower end portion of a bumper reinforcement 2 is extended afterward to make an extension portion 12. In addition, a rib 4 is projected from the center section of the back of a bumper fascia 1, and the lower portion of the fascia 1 is extended to make a rib 6. Furthermore, thinned hinge portions 8 and 10 are formed at the root and near the free end of the rib 6. Then, the intermediate rib 4 is bolted (14) together, simultaneously the rib 6 is also bolted (16) together where it is bent from the shape drawn with a two-dot chain line to the shape drawn with a solid line. |
