Cassette reproduction mechanism is elevated or lowered in a vertical direction along a cassette cabinet (200) in which a plurality of cassette tapes (600) are accommodated in a vertical direction. When the cassette reproduction mechanism reaches the position of a desired one of the cassette tapes, a cassette feeder assembly (400) picks up the desired one of the cassette tapes and then loads the same into the cassette reproduction apparatus (500) for reproduction of the records thereon.
