PURPOSE:To enable the recording of the view image and the way of operation of a driver retrospective to the time apart from the moment when he recognizes an accident to stop own automobile, by arranging a recorder for recording a TV camera and a video signal. CONSTITUTION:A TV camera is mounted on an automobile in the ongoing direction thereof and set to interlock a wiper and a washer in front of the driver so that the wiper and the washer can operate in front of the TV camera. The view of the TV camera is made to coincide with the front view of the driver. A recorder is provided with a function of recording images entering the TV camera as the automobile starts the engine or start running and stopping the recording as soon as the engine or the automobile stops or in a fixed time after the stoppage thereof. The recording is limited to a fixed time length an endless mechanism is arranged to record additional images erasing the preceding images sequentially. It is also so arranged that the lighting of at least right and left flash turn indicator lamps and a brake lamp can be recorded. |
