PURPOSE:To use effectively the stored hysteresis by storing the state information only when the state information has a change. CONSTITUTION:The state information is stored temporarily in a buffer register 2 and then in a storage circuit 1. A mask register 3 holds the mask data and has the same number of bits as the state information. The value of the register 3 can be set from a service processor. A comparator 4 compares the state information with the contents of a counter 5 for each cycle. When the coincidence is obtained from said comparison, '1' is added to the contents of a counter 5. While the discordance of the comparison is informed to a control circuit 6 by the discordance signal. Then the circuit 6 stores the contents of the register 2 and the counter 5 into the circuit 1 and at the same time stores the state information into the register 2 to reset the counter 5. |
