PURPOSE:To reduce work of operators, by a method wherein data for pieces of goods or the like obtained with a plurality of electronic scales for each specified period are totalized with a computer to be memorized into a large- capacity memory and an automatic totalization is performed. CONSTITUTION:A computer A comprising a CTR, a keyboard, a floppy disc and the like is connected to a controller B comprising a key input section, a CPU, a RAM, a ROM and the like with a communication line while the controller B is connected to first to fourth electronic scales C1-C4 with a communication line. Then, as goods are weighted with each of the electronic scales C1-C4, goods data for price and the like are transmitted to the controller B, which cumulates the goods data and transmits cumulated data according to a command of the computer A. The computer A memorizes the cumulated data received while displaying a totalization list on a CRT for each specified period. This can reduce troublesome processing work of operators during the totalization.
