One of the problems with existing rotational nibblers is the tip that forms the thread successively presses down against the work piece's top surface during rotation, but as the work piece does not tilt with the pitch angle, the work piece is pressured downward. The rotational drill nibbler of this invention features a spindle (14) with thread shaped tracks (21). The spindle is rotational in a bearing sleeve (12) that ends in a level contact surface (24) for a work piece, which forms an angle (A) with the rotational axis, which conforms to the angle between this and the thread (21), so that a crescent-shaped wedge is cut from the edge of the work piece, which is forced into contact with the bottom (20) of the nibbler.<IMAGE> |
