PURPOSE:To locate accurately a work and provide a compact chuck device by providing a tool magazine provided with a working tool and a press tool, a tool changing mechanism for receiving and delivering tools between it and a spindle and a work holding mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A work 9 held by a chuck device 13 is provided to rotate and horizontally transfer a table 11 opposedly to a press tool 6. Further, the chuck device 13 together with the tables 11, 12 is horizontally transferred to the spindle 4 side to press the work 9 against an abutting plate 6d of the press tool 6 and further to the spindle 4 side against a buffer spring e3 and locate the axial position of the chuck device for the work 9, and the chuck is again fastened for accurate location. |
