PURPOSE:To prevent the burning due to the excessive heat of an electrical preheater by detecting the engine stall which often occurs immediately after engine start through the switching of a regulator output terminal from the high-voltage feeding side to the low-voltage feeding side, thus stopping the electrical preheater. CONSTITUTION:An operation amplifier detects that a regulator output terminal 2 is switched from the high-voltage feeding side contact-point which means the operation of an engine to the low-voltage feeding side contact-point which means the stop or reduction of revolution speed of the engine. Then, an engine- stall detecting circuit 3 feeds a signal for stopping an after-blow timer 5, and prevents the burning due to excessive heat of a glow plug A. When an engine key switch 1 is switched from an ON contact-point to ST contact-point on the restart of the engine, the operation of the engine stall circuit 3 is automatically stopped. |
