PURPOSE:To enable regulation of line pressure with correspondence to the transmission torque by constituting means for detecting transmission torque with a pressure-sensitive element which is pressed by the thrust produced through cam mechanism arranged in torque transmission system to produce a signal. CONSTITUTION:A damper hub 14 is faced coaxially against a turbine hub 10 and spline coupled with the shaft 11. More than three notched grooves 10a, 14a are formed in circumferential direction while facing against the faces of said hubs 10, 14 then a ball 15 is placed between the facing notched grooves to construct a cam mechanism 16. Then a thrust bearing 17 and a pressure sensitive element 18 are placed between the turbine hub 10 and the fixed sleeve 13. Consequently, the cam mechanism 16 will drive couple between the hubs 10, 14 to drive couple the turbine runner 5 with the shaft 11 while to produce the thrust corresponding with the transmission torque between the hubs 10, 14 and to provide a corresponding signal to the pressure sensitive element 18.
