The device has a first stage with a predetermined amount of fodder fed to a controlled feed unit (7b,7c). From here it is passed in a second stage to a buffer store (13) in a closed fodder container (12). In a second stage, the fodder is fed from the store to a crib for consumption. The feeding valve (16) comprises two plates angularly adjusted in relation to each other, and which between them form a pocket. Under the effect of the animal to be fed, the plates are movable between a position where the pocket is turned inwards towards the buffer store, and one where it is turned outside the fodder container (12). |
