PURPOSE:To secure the control of sales by connecting a subterminal provided with a keyboard, a display means and a transmission means to a main terminal provided with a keyboard, a display means, a printing means, a memory means through a transmission means and allocating a key code to a customer. CONSTITUTION:The POS main terminal 100 is installed at the exit and payment place of a restaurant, and the POS subterminals 200 are installed in the restaurant by spacing. Both terminals are connected through a signal line 300. The subterminal 200 is provided with the keyboard 216, a CRT 215, a transmission device 217, etc., and is controlled by a built-in CPU 211. The main terminal 100 is provided with the keyboard 116, a CRT 115, the printer 118, a RAM 112 and a transmission device 117, etc., and is controlled by a CPU 111. A table number, for instance, is allocated to a customer as a key code, an order, etc., are inputted whenever they occur, and contents in a temporary storage area corresponding to the key code are rewritten. Thus the control of sales data is secured, and only payment processing in cash is sufficient at settlement. |
