PURPOSE:To improve cell performance by arranging a reaction-free liquid chamber on the outside of an air chamber of a unit cell located in a positive electrode end. CONSTITUTION:A reaction-free liquid chamber 8 is formed on the outside of an air chamber 4 in a unit cell 6 located in a positive electrode end, and fuel or anolyte for circulation is passed through the chamber 8. Temperature of the air chamber 4 of the unit cell located in the positive electrode end can be kept same as that of each air chamber of other unit cells. Thereby, voltage of unit cell located in the positive electrode end is kept same as that of other unit cells. Therefore, cell performance is increased. |
