摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the tightness at each section by providing a rectangular flange section in a lens element then fixing through a recilient rectangular frame body to the front face of an image tube while filling the space of the frame body with gel of such as silicon. CONSTITUTION:A projection lens 22 is arranged in front of the front glass board 21 of an image tube 20 to project an enlarged image onto a screen. Here, the lens element 23 nearest to the image tube 20 is provided with a rectangular flange section 23a while the rear face 23e is formed into rectangular then fixed through a resilient frame body 24 having C-shaped entire profile to the front glass board 21. Then the space of the frame body 24 is filled with gel of such as silicon which will be in the liquid phase when assembling while in the gel state when using. Since the gel 25 is never peeled even upon variation of volume, high quality projection image can be obtained.
