PURPOSE:To control temperature with a simple system by heating air to be supplied to an air electrode by heat exchange with anolyte, and exhausting excess air when a cell is cooled. CONSTITUTION:An air supply duct 8 is arranged in an anolyte tank 1, and supplies heated air to an oxidizing agent supply duct 10 with a fan 9 through gaps of a heat exchange pipes 4. The duct 10 is connected to a liquid fuel cell main body, and supplies heated air to an air electrode chamber. Windows 11, 11' which open and close according to temperature are mounted in the duct 10. When the cell is cooled, air supply amount is increased and windows 11, 11' are opened to exhaust excess air outside without supplying air to the air electrode chamber. |
