PURPOSE:To radiate the accumulated heat forcibly thus to increase the average input load by isolating an anode disc and a cooling member under rotation while face contacting the rear face of anode disc with the cooling member upon stoppage. CONSTITUTION:Anode rotary section 2 is moved through spring 10 to the cathode side to be isolated from a cooling member 4 while to move a rotor 16 by the field of stator 6 thus to rotate the disc 1 with high speed and to produce X-ray. Upon completion of loading, braking is applied through the stator 6 to stop the anode rotary section 2 while simultaneously a solenoid 7 is excited to move a high permeability member 14 to the right while resisting the spring 10 thus to face contact the disc 1 against the cooling member 4. Then the disc 1 is cooled by the cooling member 4 which is cooled by the cooling oil 15 to be fed from the outside. Consequently, average input load of X-ray tube can be increased considerably without increasing the capacity of disc 1. |
