EXAMPLE:N-( 4-Chlorobenzyl )-N,3,6,6-tetramethyl-5,6-dihydroimidazo[ 2,1-b ]thiazol-2-carboxamide. USE:Immunoregulator. It is used in treatment for rheumatoid arthritis, systemic erythmatosus, allergy and tumors. PREPARATION:The reaction of an amide of formula II with imidazolidine-2- thione of formula III is carried out in a solvent such as methyl ethyl ketone at 20-80 deg.C for 1-6hr to give the compound of formula I.
